ALL ABOUT KAREN

Karen E. Burks, M.A., CFEI began her career in the financial institution industry in 2007, at a community bank in Hammond, Louisiana.

In 2009, she joined the credit union movement, where she served in career roles as a Loan Officer, Collector, Business Development Officer and Branch Manager. While working the financial institution industry, Karen noticed a barrier surrounding basic money management principles, which initiated the launch of her business.

Karen serves as the Founder & CEO for Burks Management Firm, where she aids her clients with tools to successfully meet their financial recovery through financial education and small business consulting.

My community service initiatives are near and dear to my heart. It is a passion to empower high school students on the importance of financial education and workforce development skills along with assisting them to establish savings accounts.
