Karen E. Burks, M.A., CFEI began her career in the financial institution industry in 2007, at a community bank in Hammond, Louisiana.
In 2009, she joined the credit union movement, where she served in career roles as a Loan Officer, Collector, Business Development Officer and Branch Manager. While working the financial institution industry, Karen noticed a barrier surrounding basic money management principles, which initiated the launch of her business.
Karen serves as the Founder & CEO for Burks Management Firm, where she aids her clients with tools to successfully meet their financial recovery through financial education and small business consulting.
